York Neuroscience Facility

Located to the North of the Sherman building at York University’s Keele campus the York Neuroscience Facility is a three level building that has a gross floor area of 4,963 m² in the form of research spaces, including wet laboratories, kinesiology and neuropsychology laboratories, and research offices. The structure of the upper two levels and roof is designed as mass timber. The entire project has been designed in BIM (Building Information Modelling) an integral part of this project, and one of the many strengths and skill sets of Birnie Electric. Set to complete in early 2025, we are glad to be part of this project in providing additional learning facilities to current and future students.
