The New Toronto Courthouse will amalgamate six Ontario Court of Justice criminal courts into a single modern location in downtown Toronto. We are part of the electrical team working on the New Toronto Courthouse. This project involves the construction of a new 17-storey tower on a 4-storey podium with two underground levels, located just north of Toronto’s City Hall.
This courthouse is being built by EllisDon in conjunction with Infrastructure Ontario. Its 780,000 sq. ft. footprint will surely add to the landscape of iconic buildings in Toronto. The New Toronto Courthouse is scheduled to open in 2022, amalgamating a number of courts into one building. This building adds to the growing list of projects we have been a part of together with EllisDon over the years. We were glad to be one of the electrical contractors of choice on this project.
