True North Electrical Solutions Limited has been created as a joint partnership company to work with Ellis Don in development of the Canada High Arctic Research Station (CHARS) in Cambridge Bay, Nunavut.
True North brings together the best practices and expertise of two world-class electrical contracting companies – Birnie Electric Limited and Ryfan Electric Limited – to successfully meet the unique and complex challenges presented in the Canadian Arctic.
CHARS will be a year-round, multi-disciplinary facility located just minutes from the centre of the community. The Centre will house laboratories, a technology and development centre, a traditional knowledge space, office space, meeting space and housing and accommodation.
