Tim Birnie, P.Eng.

Executive Chairman

Tim is the driving force behind Birnie Electric’s growth as an industry leader in the electrical sector. A graduate of Queen’s University with a BSc Honours in Electrical Engineering, Tim joined the family business in 1981 and became President and Owner in 2001.

Chief Executive Officer

Brian leads and directs all the Company’s effort to provide safe, practical, and cost-effective solutions to its customers and end-users. Brian oversees the management team’s direction of the Company’s day-to-day operations and ensures that our in-house engineers, project managers, and forepersons find innovative improvements and efficiencies for all commercial, industrial, institutional, and residential jobs.
